Omnitronic VC-11 Monitor választó / vezérlő

Desktop Monitor Controller with Hands-On Volume, Mute and Mono Switching

The VC-11 is a compact desktop monitor controller built for project studios, editing suites and home listening setups where quick, repeatable level changes matter more than menu diving. A single stereo channel is routed through the unit, with balanced XLR / 6.3 mm combo inputs (L/R) handling professional line-level sources and a 3.5 mm AUX IN covering phones, laptops and consumer gear. The VC-11 keeps the signal path deliberately short, giving engineers immediate control over what is heard in the room.

Balanced 6.3 mm TRS outputs (L/R) feed a pair of active studio monitors, while a 3.5 mm output carries the same signal for headphones or another device; both outputs are active at the same time. Front-panel Mono, Mute and Volume controls put the most-used monitoring functions exactly where the hand rests, which is useful during long mix sessions when reaching for a mouse breaks concentration.

Inputs — One Balanced Channel Plus a Consumer AUX

Inputs define what the controller can actually sit between, so the VC-11 is built around a single professional-grade channel and a convenience jack for everyday devices. The combo connectors accept either XLR or 6.3 mm plugs, balanced or unbalanced, while the AUX IN handles phones, tablets and laptops; when both are connected, the AUX input takes priority.

• Balanced Inputs: XLR / 6.3 mm combo, L/R — accepts balanced line-level sources from audio interfaces and mixers
• AUX Input: 3.5 mm jack — quick connection for phones, laptops and consumer playback devices
• Channel Count: 1 — one stereo channel focused on monitoring rather than multi-source mixing

Outputs — Monitors Plus a Parallel Mini Jack

• Monitor Outputs: 6.3 mm TRS, L/R, balanced — feed a pair of active studio monitors or a PA amplifier
• Mini Jack Output: 3.5 mm stereo — same signal as the 6.3 mm outputs, for headphones or another device

Controls and Form Factor — Volume, Mute, Mono at Hand

The control surface is intentionally minimal: a master Volume knob, a Mute switch and a Mono button cover the three actions engineers reach for most often during monitoring. There is no phantom power, no microphone preamp and no digital I/O, which keeps the VC-11 focused purely on playback control rather than recording duties.

• Front-Panel Controls: Volume, Mute, Mono — instant access to the three core monitoring functions
• Phantom Power: No — playback-only design, no microphone preamp circuitry
• Form Factor: Desktop — sits beside a laptop or audio interface

Who the VC-11 Is Built For

The VC-11 is the right choice for project-studio owners, podcast editors and home producers who need a tactile volume and monitoring hub between their audio interface and their speakers. It suits setups where one balanced source feeds the desk and the engineer wants hands-on volume, mute and mono checks without reaching for the mouse. Solo creators working from a laptop will also benefit from the AUX IN, which lets a phone or tablet be auditioned through the same monitors used for mix checks.

VC-11 Product Line and Positioning

The VC-11 sits within a broader family of compact desktop monitor controllers aimed at bedroom studios and editing rooms where rack space is at a premium. Its combination of balanced combo inputs, a 3.5 mm AUX and a parallel mini jack output positions it as a flexible playback hub rather than a recording front-end, and the absence of phantom power or microphone inputs reinforces that playback-only role.
