Studio Lights

Studio lights provide controlled lighting for photography, video or a working set. Models differ in intensity, light character, dimensions and power supply. When choosing, determine the size of the area being filmed, the distance from the subject and the mounting position. Always check the specific adjustment options in the product details.

Not every light offers the same colour temperature or colour adjustment. Check the adjustment range, dimming method and colour rendering specifications where provided by the manufacturer. When pairing multiple lights, it is practical to compare their characteristics in the same setup.

The hardness and direction of the light are affected by the source size, distance and light-shaping accessories used. If you need a softer result, check for a compatible diffuser or softbox; for precise direction, check the options for barn doors or a grid. Do not combine accessories solely because they have similar dimensions.

Before ordering, check the thread or mount, the stand's load capacity and the power supply method. When working outside the studio, consider transport, the available mains supply or the supported battery. Not every mount or power supply may be included, so check the package contents separately.

Position the light so that it does not obstruct movement and route the cables according to workplace conditions. Adapt installation and operation to the manufacturer's documentation. Take a test shot before filming and check the shadows and reflections.

Compare intensity, colour adjustment, mounting, power supply and available accessories. Choose a light that suits the specific shot and space, not a vague promise of professional results.
