Lasers
Lasers are lighting effects for stages, clubs and parties that project sharp coloured beams and patterns into the space. When choosing, focus mainly on the laser's colour and power, control method (automatic mode, sound, DMX) and whether you will use it in a fixed installation or on the road. The range includes lasers from Laserworld, Cameo, Light4Me, Eliminator Lighting and LWS.
What lasers are used for
Lasers complement conventional lighting effects with fine beams and geometric patterns. They are suitable for DJ sets, concerts, clubs and private celebrations. The range includes compact models with RGB beams as well as more powerful lasers for larger spaces.
| Use | What to check |
|---|---|
| Home party and small club | Compact dimensions, automatic and sound mode, simple setup |
| Concerts and larger stages | Higher power, DMX control and stable mounting |
| Mobile use | Low weight, power supply and portability |
What to watch out for
With lasers, check the power and colour configuration, controls and power options. If you want to control the laser from a lighting console, look for a model with DMX. Follow the manufacturer's safety instructions during operation and do not point the beam into the audience's eyes. Beams are more visible in fog, so lasers are often paired with a fog machine or hazer from the effect machines category.
Lasers in a complete lighting setup
A laser works best in combination with other effects. For moving light, choose moving heads, for a coloured background choose PAR lights, and for rapid flashes choose strobes. If you need everything in one, see lighting sets.
You can find other types of lighting in the parent lights category.
