Qin Strings encapsulates the aesthetic essence of pop music strings, serving as an essential resource for composers in the genre. These strings are designed to significantly enhance the productivity of music producers in their daily work.

Recorded at Jintian Recording Studio, the largest orchestral studio in Beijing, China, Qin Strings underwent a meticulous production process. Under the guidance of producer Chen Qinyang, every detail was carefully attended to, ensuring that each legato sample authentically captures the essence of string performance.

The sampling process featured a talented ensemble of 8-6-4-4-2 players, and the use of an SSL mixer allowed our sound engineer to achieve a warm tone, perfectly suited for contemporary pop music.

Perfect Sampling of Pizzicato and Staccato with Minimal Latency

Qin Strings has effectively addressed latency issues, providing an almost instantaneous response. Users can confidently arrange and produce music alongside a metronome, assured that latency will not be a concern.

Control the amplitude of trills using MIDI controller CC4. Setting the value below 50 produces minor second trills, while values above 50 yield major second trills. Both Pizzicato and Staccato samples are exceptional in quality.

Seamless Integration with NI Komplete S Series Keyboard

Qin Strings is officially packaged by NI and is fully compatible with the entire range of NI hardware products. Customers will receive an activation code directly from Native Access, allowing for easy installation as an NI standard library.

About the Recording of Qin Strings

The recording sessions at Jintian Recording Studio were led by experienced recording engineer Mr. Wang Xiaosi, ensuring high-quality string recordings.

Throughout the recording process, producer Chen Qinyang focused on achieving excellence, meticulously refining each sample with SSL Mixer and precise EQ processing to guarantee top-notch quality and realism in legato sampling.

Outstanding and Realistic Legato and Vibrato

Vibrato is controlled via CC11 MIDI Controller, where a default value of 0 indicates fast vibrato, values between 25%-49% signify slow vibrato, and values from 50%-100% indicate no vibrato.

CC4 also determines the type of trill, with a default value of 0 producing minor second trills, and values between 50%-100% transitioning to major second trills. Additionally, CC1 controls expression, similar to other string sample libraries.
