Sela Therapy Platonic Year 172,06 Hz Gegabelter Tuner

Sela Therapy Platonic Year 172,06 Hz — Sound Therapy Tuning Fork for Reflection and Balance

The Sela Therapy Platonic Year 172,06 Hz tuning fork is a precision sound-therapy instrument tuned to the Platonic Year frequency, an interval long associated in vibrational practice with perspective, wisdom and a broader sense of connection. Built around a specially engineered aluminum alloy, the fork delivers clean resonance, accurate frequency reproduction and a long, sustained decay that practitioners can feel through the stem. Its expansive tone is intended to support reflective meditation, sound baths and bodywork sessions where a steady, focused vibration helps anchor the experience.

Designed for therapeutic use rather than musical tuning, this model pairs a slim ergonomic stem with a cork grip that adds warmth and a secure hold during extended sessions. The hand-finished matte surface gives the fork a calm, professional appearance, while the included cotton bag keeps it protected between uses. Sela, a brand of HAGE Musikverlag GmbH & Co. KG, manufactures the fork in Germany to a multi-stage precision tuning process.

Why the Platonic Year Frequency Matters in Sound Therapy

In vibrational and sound-therapy traditions, the Platonic Year frequency is linked to perspective, wisdom and a wider sense of connection with one's surroundings. Practitioners working with this fork often use it to encourage reflection, support meditation and bring a sense of spaciousness to a session. The Sela Therapy Platonic Year 172,06 Hz fork delivers that frequency with the stability and clarity that therapeutic work demands.

• Tuning Frequency: 172.06 Hz — the Platonic Year interval, chosen for reflective and meditative practices.
• Material: Special aluminum alloy — engineered for sound therapy, with precise frequency reproduction and long-lasting tonal stability.

Engineered for Comfortable, Extended Therapeutic Use

A tuning fork used in bodywork or sound baths needs to feel balanced in the hand and easy to hold for long periods. Sela addresses this with a slim stem, a warm cork grip and a low overall mass, so the practitioner can stay focused on the client rather than on the tool.

• Length: 265 mm — long stem that transfers vibration cleanly into the hand and the body.
• Weight: 87 g — light enough for extended sessions without hand fatigue.
• Tine Dimensions: 7 mm wide × 10 mm high — produces a strong, sustained vibration with clear acoustic performance and extended decay.

Built for Reliable Daily Practice

Therapy tools live in bags, on shelves and in studios, so durability matters. The aluminum alloy body resists corrosion, the hand-finished matte surface hides minor wear, and the cotton storage bag shields the tines from knocks and dust between sessions.

• Finish: Hand-finished matte surface — understated look that suits both clinic and studio environments.
• Grip: Cork grip — warm, secure feel that stays comfortable during longer treatments.
• Package Contents: Cotton bag included — protects the fork in transit and storage.
