Waldorf Microwave 1 - Upgrade v2 (Digitales Produkt)

Waldorf Microwave 1 Upgrade v2 — More Voices, More Expression

The Microwave 1 - Upgrade v2 is an upgrade license for registered owners of the Waldorf Microwave 1 Plugin (Version 1), bringing it to Version 2 with new sound and processing features. It introduces voice cards that lift polyphony from 8 to 32 while keeping the original micro timing. The plug-in runs in all major DAWs as VST, VST3 and AAX on macOS and Windows, plus AU on macOS, delivered as a perpetual digital download.

What Sets the Upgrade Apart

Up to three additional voice cards with 8 voices each are added to the original 8 voices, keeping the micro timing and variations of the original. Version 2 also brings a redesigned preset browser, multi-level undo/redo and simultaneous editing of multiple instrument parts. Round Robin and Random Robin trigger modes, plus polyphonic and global arpeggiators, bring new movement to layered patches.

Who Should Buy the Microwave 1 - Upgrade v2

Current Microwave 1 plugin owners looking to expand their sound design toolkit will find plenty to explore. Producers building dense layered pads and complex arpeggiated sequences will benefit most from the expanded voice count and new trigger modes. The Microwave 1 - Upgrade v2 is the right choice for anyone who loves the original Microwave character.
